Happy New Year! I am both fascinated and appalled by New Year’s resolutions. I do not usually make them, because for the most part I think they are ineffective. On the other hand, I do strive to better myself every year, and am always interested in hearing how others are pursuing their goals.

Speaking of success, I am relieved that at the very, very end of 2011, I finally released the new Surfnetkids.com design, which was one of my goals for 2010!

Our new years resolution is to keep on churning the milk, until we make butter! In this current climate, we have to stay focused.
This year, I am making a resolution of actually doing things that I set my goals on.
Last year my husband and myself gave up smoking. Unfortunately we were both overweight and have piled on even more pounds. So the resolutions are to eat less and more healthily and move more!!!! So far so good just cutting out some unhealthy snacking habits!

I have resolved to lose weight and spend less money, and I have a plan to accomplish each one. I think so often New Year’s resolutions are not fulfilled because people start out with good intentions but no plan to achieve their goals.
Hi Barbara! I don’t go either with new year’s resolutions. It’s better to do it right away than promising yourself but never it will happened. Just try to be better if not the best.
