January 14, 2005A Two-Way ConversationWhen questioned as to my occupation, my husband Howard usually answers "syndicated columnist." That's a good answer, because it is something that almost everyone can understand. The truth, however, is that my weekly newspaper column is just a small part of my publishing business, which includes this newsletter, several websites, several ebooks, a membership site (the Surfnetkids Printables Club) and a couple of blogs. And, as my newsletter readers know, I often "blog" about my family. Howard, I guess, never knew that. Because it was just a few days ago when he discovered that what I call the Surfnetkids Journal contains lots of stories about us ... the real life us. He enjoyed reading them, but what struck him most was the responses posted by you, my dear readers. Posts of support when our dog died, when I had a hysterectomy, when our son was "lost" in the New York blackout, and so on. So... from my desk to yours.. thank you. Thank you for making this a two-way conversation... not simply a broadcast. More Posts Like This One: My Life 2005 Posted by Barbara J. I loved the Mama Mia movie, thought it was much better than the Broadway play. ~~ From Twitter on Jul 19, 08 11:23 PM
