      <![CDATA[<p>Still no news on a new date for the surgery. Thank you again for all the warm wishes and prayers.  They really meant a lot to me.  One reader asked if I minded the prayers of "someone who wasn't Jewish."   So let me clearly state my policy.  I accept prayers from anyone (and everyone) with good intentions.</p>

<p>Just to add more madness to the mix, my daughter came down with chicken pox the week before school ended.  And I thought she had it when she was little! I must have mis-diagnosed it the first time, because there was NO doubt this time around.  She had a pretty bad case. Oh well.  I guess that's why no one comes to me for medical advice.</p>]]>
