ClickBank Paypal Issues

I've decided to dive deeper into the process of delivering e-books via ClickBank and PayPal. Since I'm most familiar with ClickBank (I earn money with them as an affiliate), I'll start there.

The biggest complaints I hear about ClickBank are the expense of setting up multiple accounts for mutliple products, and affiliates stealing commission from one another by modifying links. ClickBank Toolkit is product that solves both of these problems, and a few others.

My favorite part is that their standalone Link Cloaker software is:
1) yours to distribute freely to your affiliates
2) and is brandable (you can place your ClickBank nickname in the embedded sales links.)

There are several ways to cloak an affiliate link. The ClickBank Toolkit creates javascript that will display YOUR url in the browser address bar, while displaying the CONTENT of the remote sales page. This is the same technique used by the Affiliate Link Cloaker that is part of Web Army Knife.

Here it is in action. Move your mouse over this affiliate link to Headline Creator Pro to see the link with my affiliate code visible.

Now, try the same with a cloaked link. Move your mouse over this cloaked link and see how it looks like a page from my server? Now click through, and look at the address in the browser toolbar. It looks as if I am hosting the sales page --- and you do not see my affiliate nickname at all.

Now, I know this is not foolproof, I am fully aware of how commissions can still be stolen further down in the Click Bank process... but this does stop a good many people up front.

Now, back to PayPal for a moment. If you are concerned about displaying the data contained in your PayPal sales links (such as your thank you download page), you can also use the Affiliate Link Cloaker from Web Army Knife.
