May 1, 2006Daily Education Quotes Fixed and a College ChosenOver the weekend we finally got the problems solved with the Daily Educational Quote, and everyone should be receiving their daily quotes now without any problems. HOORAY! Now I can safely encourage new subscribers, as I have been assured that the Surfnetkids server is capable of handling it. Here's the link: click here to sign up for Daily Education Quotes. On a personal note, my son has chosen to attend Carnegie-Mellon University (Pittsburgh, PA) in the fall. It was a difficult choice, and I didn't share much about it because it really wasn't about me, but rather all about him. I'm thrilled he's decided, and although I'd rather have him close to home (we live in San Diego), I respect his decision to attend the school he feels is best for him. Congratulations Matthew! Feldman on May 3, 2006 8:41 AMMy son-in-law attended Carnegie-Mellon and it was the best thing he ever did. They assigned a class project to invent a product, patent it, produce it, and market it. What he chose to create gave him a career for life. The product took off like gang-busters and he then had to create his own company to produce it because the demand was so high. He now a whole catalog of goods now, 6th company expansion location, his own plane, tennis court, in-ground pool and hot tub, indoor and outdoor sauna rooms, a vacation home in the Bahamas, etc. etc. I wish you the same level of success from your scholastic experience. I loved the Mama Mia movie, thought it was much better than the Broadway play. ~~ From Twitter on Jul 19, 08 11:23 PM
