Finding a Publisher

Dear Barbara,
I am a published author of short stories and poems. How likely is it that I will be able to find a new publishing house online? I am looking for a "real" publishing house, not some internet house on the verge of collapse. Any ideas?

The publishing biz still works the way it always has. You need to send a written (i.e. snail mail) query letter. Or better yet, get an agent.
