But the concept at DesignOutpost.com is completely different. Instead of having to hire a graphics designer before you see what they design for you.... the design work is done up front, and you get to choose which one you want to buy!

DesignOutpost.com is a forum for running what they call "design contests." Companies create contests ("the winning logo for WidgetsRUS wins $100!") and designers compete for the "prize money."

So maybe Surfnetkids needs a new logo, a site redesign, or a company t-shirt. I could come up with all sorts of reasons to give DesignOutpost.com a try.

Just one more thing: there's a section where non-profits can get their designs for free.

They tested some logo design firms who cater to the online market (Logo Company, LogoDesignCreation.com, etc.).
