June 19, 2003How to Make an eBook CoverHello Barbara, Thanks, Robert. I designed all my own book covers except "How to Add Games to Your Site" which was designed by Brian Terry of eBookWow. To create the others, I followed the free tutorial and used the free templates available at Cover Art Guide. This fabulous free tutorial teaches you how to use Compact Draw (a $28 try-before-you-buy download.) I highly recommend it. On the other hand, many gurus swear that information products with "ugly" book covers do much better. For example, take a look at these covers: Sherpa Store, 101 Public Relations, and Succeeding in Business. One day I will test my "pretty" How-to-Add-Games cover against an "ugly" one. How will I do the test? I am installing Split Hit to run a split-test run. I will let you know how it turns out. More Posts Like This One: eBook Publishing Posted by Barbara J.
