Hubble Telescope Given a Reprieve!

Yeah! NASA has overturned a previous decison not to send a repair mission to the Hubble Space Telescope.

According to Cnn.com, NASA Administrator Michael Griffin announced today that the shuttle Discovery will pay the Hubble Space Telescope a final service call in May, 2008. The mission will install two new instruments, the Cosmic Origins Spectrograph and the Wide Field Camera 3, and will service Hubble's gyroscopes, which keep the telescope stable.
