Shel Silverstein’s First Poetry Book

First published in 1964 under the title “Uncle Shelby’s Zoo,” Shel Silverstein’s first book of children’s poetry has been re-released this week as “Don’t Bump The Glump! and Other Fantasies.” Amazon has some audio clips from the new book here.

With April being National Poetry Month, and today (April 17) being National Poem in Your Pocket Day, I thought it worthy of a mention.
