Today I unveiled the Surfnetkids Subscribed Links program in cooperation with Google. Sign up for free (over at Google) and add my expertise to your Google searches. As a subscriber, relevant Surfnetkids links will appear in your Google search results, whenever they are available.

I posted this twice I do not see any submission errors.
I am looking for social stories and music videos for a Nineteen Year old Autistic young Man. I want things to teach him appropriate behavior. He can read simple language.

My is Nineteen Years old. He is a Mid-functioning Autistic young man. He reads simple language. I am looking for social stories that will remind him of appropriate behavior. He loves Music and videos would help also.

I was referring to the part where the links are also being displayed on Google that include my
sharinglinks bookmarks. Do I need to make my links private if I don't want them to appear on Google?

I'm not exactly sure I understand your question.

In order to view the Google Surfnetkids Subscribed links, you have to subscribe at Google. If you do NOT want to see the extra links, you can cancel your Google subscription within the Google interface (called "Manage My Subscriptions."

I know the Google captcha (verification phrase) is very hard to read. If you don't get it right, however, they will serve you a different one.

I do NOT recall Google sending a verification email, if that's what you are referring to.

To test that you have a working Google account, you should see either a "Sign In" or "Sign Out" in the upper right-hand corner on any Google page. If you are signed in (and have joined the Surfnetkids Subscribed Links) try searching for "Pi Day" ... and should see our link (and my smiling face.)

I signed up, but didn't receive verification. I keep trying, but nothing happens, and reading the verification input is very difficult.

Thanks for the "heads up" on this service!! Google has many services/programs that help our lives on the net, but keeping up with them is a full-time job!! Your pages have helped me in my technology classroom with lesson ideas, new information, and just plain fun ideas. Thanks!!

Dear Confused,

No premium subscription is necessary. This is a free Google service, and works for anyone who has a free Google account.

I signed up but I'm confused by the word "subscribed." Does this work only for people who have subscribed as premium subscribers to Surf the Net with Kids? Or is just the Google signup adequate?
