Ahh… you are referring to my China column (http://www.surfnetkids.com/china.htm). That was written a number of years ago. But in order to avoid confusion, I have taken that sentence out. You will always find an updated calendar at:

Please check your calendar for this year’s chinese new year date. We believe that this will be the year of the monkey and that the new year will begin on Jan. 22nd instead of the 24th.
