The Cruise is Booked!

As some of you may already know, this is the first time in twenty-years that my husband and I have been alone for two whole months. My son (who is a junior in college) got a great research job on campus (out of town) and my daughter (who is a junior in high school) got a great "job" as a counselor-in-training at a sleepaway camp. The reason her job is in quotes is that she is only getting paid in community service hours.

Yes, I miss them. But I decided to follow George Herbert's advice, who said, "Living well is the best revenge." And when the opportunity presented it itself to go on a Mediterranean cruise with another couple, we jumped on it.

We will be leaving in a few weeks. Here's how all this relates to you. I am planning on Twittering and uploading pictures as we go. If you'd like to follow along, you can do so in a variety of ways.

The whole idea is to post updates, but not spend much time bogged down in the technology of it all.
