      <![CDATA[<p>According to the <a href="http://50.lycos.com/" target="_blank">weekly Lycos 50 report</a>, search activity has soared  for American Idol contestant Mario Vazquez, who announced yesterday he was leaving the competition due to "personal family business." </p>

<p>Meanwhile, of  all the potential Idols, the men take seven of the top ten search spots, and Bo Bice is searched five times more than any other Idol finalist. </p>

<p>The top 10 American Idols searches for this week were: Bo Bice, Constantine Maroulis, Anthony Fedorov, Mario Vazquez, Carrie Underwood, Mikalah Gordon, Joseph Murena, Lindsey Cardinale and Nikko Smith. </p>
