Did I mention that a few weeks ago I played hooky for a day, and went to Disneyland with my daughter, sister-in-law, niece, and nephew? We had a great time, and I did ALL the roller coasters. Whip. Whir. Snap. Whip again.

When I got home, my husband said I looked two inches shorter. I was just really, really tired. In fact, I was tired the next day too.

And then, three or four days later, stepping out of my car, I felt a little uncomfortable twinge in my back. I continued to feel it for a few days: a little here, a little there. Then one day, I was in agony.

And I've been in agony now for nearly two weeks. The doctor says I'm making progress, but it's just a little bit of progress each day.

I swear (you're my witness, right?) when I get better I am going to do more strengthening and stretching exercises. I've heard that yoga keeps you feeling young for years. I sure could use a little "feeling young" now.

I am 56 and a computer specialist. I keep my back in shape by doing yoga at least weekly, twice a week would be better but working full time it isn't possible. I am in far better shape that most my age and have physical back problems I was born with and yoga takes care of those. I found pilates far too hard on my back and have done yoga for 4 years.
PS Hope you continue to improve and can find a close yoga studio.
