January 9, 2007Your Bookmarking HabitsI have been working on a very exciting project, and I could use some guidance. A few weeks ago I asked a few questions about bookmarking, and now I have some more. My exciting project has something to do with bookmarking, and your input could really help me. Click below to answer a few questions about your bookmarking habits and problems. At the end of the survey there will be an opportunity to sign up for the early notification list when my bookmarking project is ready to be announced. Click here to take the short survey (just 7 questions.) Before the actual announcement, I will be needing some volunteers to help me test the product. If you are interested in helping out with the test, please take the survey and join the early notification list at the end. You will hear from me when I am ready for testers. I have tons of favorites on serveral computers. Although are site is primarily art realated I have educational links pages for our visitors. Unfortunately I find more links than I have time to add. And of course I'm always looking for good fine art links for kids and adults. This would be wonderful! Posted by: Robin on April 26, 2007 6:47 AMI would love to use this product. I have a tons of bookmarks. I have book marks for myself and also for my daughter whgo recently turned 9 and has discovered the wonderfulo world wide web. I am looking forward to a way to keep me organized. (At least on the web!) Thanks I do like recalling websites that I like and visit at various times under my Favorites list. Is there a better way?? Posted by: Lisa on April 4, 2007 3:56 PMI love bookmarking, but, I, too, am such a packrat - even on the computer! LOL! I had no idea that my packrat habits would affect my computing as well! I would love to have a quick, easy way to organize, and clean out my bookmarks, but, also - an easy way to find the ones I'm looking for! I'm excited to see what you have brewing! Posted by: Lisa Roberson on January 27, 2007 6:18 AMI do not know if I can access my bookmarks from other computers, perhaps you should add an "I Don't Know" choice. I love bookmarking sites for using later, but I often can't find what I'm looking for later. I save so many that I have had to clear out my Favorites site and save them on my computer. Posted by: Tara on January 10, 2007 4:16 PMI love the idea of bookmaking it makes homeschooling so much easier since I teach almost totaly from on line resources. Anything that can make it easier would be great!!!!! Posted by: Ada Sledge on January 10, 2007 2:10 PMI agree, unless it's organized (& WELL) it becomes unmanageable and unusable. I, too, have a bunch of bookmarks that I never access because I forget about them...'cause I've moved on to another site and bookmarked that! Posted by: Debbie McDonald on January 10, 2007 11:37 AMI love bookmarking about as much as I love my answering machine. I use it several times a day. When I don't have time to really take my time and read something I know I can bookmark it and read it later. Great thing...bookmarking!!!!! Gale Posted by: Gale Presnell on January 10, 2007 7:53 AMI love to bookmark!!! I think it's the neatest think since the answering machine. I bookmark several times a day, so I can return later when I have more time. Posted by: Gale Presnell on January 10, 2007 7:19 AMThere should probably be a middle choice for liking or not liking the way you bookmark. My way is ok but not very user friendly - so I can do it, but I don't like the way I do it. Posted by: Charlotte Lesser on January 10, 2007 5:53 AMI bookmark LOTS of sites, for everything from homeschooling to scrapbooking to home repair! I would love an easier way to organize and find the sites that I need. I'm looking forward to seeing your new project! Best wishes! You mean the same as marking a FAVORITE, correct? I spend lots of time doing it and forget to recall and use them. No organization. Thanks. Posted by: Lucinda on January 10, 2007 5:00 AM |
